Brand characteristics
The BIONIKA DI-SM implant system is compatible with the DIO® SM platform and features a conical and hexagonal (Cone & Hex) connection that ensures precise fitting and micromovement-free load transfer.
The 22° cone angle directs forces deep into the implant body, optimising load distribution and contributing to long-term bone preservation.
The spirally micro-grooved, self-locking thread profile provides strong cortical anchorage, while the self-compressing, self-cutting thread design ensures excellent primary stability in the spongy bone.
The platform switching configuration promotes the natural adaptation of bone and soft tissues, forming a biological seal around the implant shoulder.
With its anatomical root-shaped design and rounded apex, the DI-SM implant offers precise placement, aesthetic soft tissue adaptation, and high stability even under immediate loading. This system provides a reliable, long-term stable solution for a wide range of prosthetic applications.
Geometry characteristics
Wide Straight Multi-Unit Abutment with Threaded Self-Fixation for Cemented or Screw-Retained Restorations
To screw in the MU, you need to order the driver from us. The manufacturer's original MU driver is not compatible.
The Multi-unit abutment, straight, screwable, wide is a prosthetic component designed to connect to an implant or intermediate multi-unit base using its own threaded fixation, eliminating the need for a separate screw. The wide profile provides enhanced stability for larger restorations, especially in the posterior region where higher mechanical forces are exerted on the prosthetic structure.
Its straight angulation allows for simple insertion when no angle correction is required. The screw-in design offers secure, time-efficient fixation while reducing the number of components required during clinical and laboratory workflows. It is suitable as an intermediate element for both cemented and screw-retained prosthetic solutions.
Main Advantages:
- Screw-in self-fixation: No separate fixation screw required.
- Wide profile: Provides a stable base for soft tissue support and larger restorations.
- Straight geometry: Ideal when implants are placed in optimal alignment.
- Compatible with various multi-unit systems: Flexible integration in prosthetic workflows.
- Biocompatible titanium: Durable, sterilizable, and tissue-friendly material for long-term clinical use.
Indications:
The Multi-unit abutment, straight, screwable, wide is an excellent solution for full-arch or partial multi-implant-supported restorations, particularly in cases requiring enhanced stability, reliable orientation, and simplified, screwless fixation.
