The Type B orientation ensures that a specific apex of the connection interface consistently aligns in the same position relative to the top of the abutment upon each insertion. This precise orientation supports seamless alignment of crown shapes, soft tissue contours, and prosthetic elements—crucial in bridge or full-arch restorations.
