Its indexed configuration ensures that a defined flat surface or apex on the connection is always aligned in the same direction relative to the top part of the restoration upon reinsertion. The cylindrical design is well-suited for restorations manufactured via CAD/CAM or conventional methods and is especially advantageous when prosthetic axis alignment, contact point control, and aesthetic integration are critical.
